Our New Web Site

We’ve been busy working on the garden for the last several months, and recently on a roadside farm stand to sell the produce from. Technology type things, such as this website, have been on the back burner.

Now that we have a chance to work on some other things, we hope to start doing more writing and editing of photos and videos to share.

So, who are we? We are a multigenerational family living on a small farm in southeast Tennessee. There are myself, my wife, our son, my mom, and our second son/foreign exchange student. The cat tolerates our presence most of the time but the dog loves to see us. Along with a small flock of chickens and the usual assortment of wild animals in the country, that pretty much sums us up.

Some of the critters that found us this week. Three baby raccoons. They seem to like the tall grass and spilled corn under mom’s bird feeders.

Oh yeah, there’s one other thing that I should probably include in here. Why the name of Fulfilled Lifestyle Farm? The big reason, is that no one seemed to have taken that name on the web previously. I’m kidding, kind of. We don’t want to only survive as we live our lives. We want to experience things to the fullest. Sometimes that is good and sometimes not so good, but living just to get through the day isn’t living. There’s more to that thought, but I’ll leave it at that for the moment. Part of that experience is sharing it with others, either in person or virtually. That’s where this site comes into play. Having a single place that can collect our ideas, projects, images, and videos is the reason for the website. We have friends and followers on Facebook and Instagram, and hopefully soon subscribers on YouTube. However, we don’t really have a good place they can all be collected together. Now we do.

So, what’s next?

One of the things I’m planning to add in the near future is a page for the greenhouse. We have a webcam set up in there that you can currently view here. However, I would like to get a webpage set up so you can see it live on this website whenever you want. I also want to put together a blog post of how the greenhouse was constructed, since I took quite a few pictures along the way.

Another project that we hope to have a video of soon is the roadside farm stand. We took some video along the way that may be entertaining to some.

This website also needs plenty of work. Some of the things yet to add are a shopping cart for self-checkout at the farm stand, and figuring out what plugins to use to pull in the latest IG, Facebook, and YouTube content.

That should keep us busy for a while, but would you like to see something specific here? Email us and let us know!
